Rama Rao Jr. that went viral worldwide. The song's Oscar performance, with dancers filling the Dolby Theatre stage, was the ceremony's most talked-about moment. RRR — a fictional story about two real Indian revolutionary heroes fighting the British Raj — had already become a global phenomenon through Netflix, where Western audiences discovered its relentless maximalism: gravity-defying action, unironic heroism, and musical numbers staged with the intensity of battle scenes.
